Clement has written media criticism since 2015, with bylines with Film Inquiry, Film Daze, and Frames Cinema Journal. He has written film reviews, interviews with filmmakers, film news, and entertainment journalism. He edits with MAYDAY magazine as the lead Culture editor and Film Inquiry as a contributing editor and constantly threatens to start his own lit mag. He joined Static Media in 2022.
Education
Clement has a bachelor's in film and photography from Ithaca College in upstate New York; he also has a master's degree in film studies from the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where he researched, among other things, environmental film, Italian horror cinema, and propaganda.
