The Andor Character You Are Based On Your Zodiac Sign

Premiering in September 2022, "Andor" officially became Disney+'s fourth live-action "Star Wars" show. Created by Tony Gilroy, who co-wrote "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," "Andor" centers around the protagonist of that movie: Cassian Andor, rebel spy and operative. The show takes viewers back to a time before Cassian had joined the rebellion, and follows his life during the lead-up to the fateful battle on Scarif at the end of "Rogue One."

Cassian Andor may not be as big of a name as Boba Fett or Obi-Wan Kenobi, but his show is arguably the best live-action "Star Wars" spin-off yet. Much of this is due to the smart writing and more grounded elements of the show, which sees the Force and Jedi put aside in favor of the political conflict between the Empire and the scrappy Rebel Alliance. This move has led the show to receive near-universal acclaim from both fans and critics, especially surrounding its masterful season finale.

Arguably the show's biggest strength is its well-rounded cast of believable and likable characters. From the headstrong Cassian, who spends much of the season just barely scraping by, to the politically savvy Mon Mothma, who tries her best to aid the rebellion efforts, there's no shortage of compelling heroes and villains in the show. With "Andor" having wrapped its first season, fans may be wondering which character they are most like. Here's the "Andor" character you are based on your astrological sign.

Aries: Cassian Andor

The first sign of the zodiac, Aries reigns over people born between March 21st and April 19th. As is typical for fire signs, those born under Aries tend to be energetic and determined individuals. However, those born under the sign of the ram are particularly known to be intelligent mavericks who like to do things their way. They often end up taking on leadership roles, even when they don't plan to.

No character in "Andor" better represents Aries than the show's lead, Cassian Andor. Cassian is an energetic go-getter who is rarely content to just sit around, which often sees him getting into trouble. He thinks on his feet but sometimes acts rashly, leading him to go down dark roads that put his loved ones in danger, such as the killing of two security officers on Morlana One. He has a strong independent streak, with a story arc that traces his shift from individualist to member of a group cause.

He's more than a member, though — his skills and convictions often bring him to leadership roles. After joining Vel's rebel group in "Aldhani," Cassian often takes charge of the group and makes changes to the plans. However, his authoritativeness really comes into play in "One Way Out," when he leads the prisoners on Narkina 5 to freedom.

Taurus: B2EMO

Taurus is the first earth sign of the zodiac, and as such, tends to be one of the more sturdy and reliable signs of the zodiac. Taureans are known to be homebodies, prioritizing the stable and dependable aspects of their lives. They take a lot of comfort from close relationships, but most of all, Taureans are known to be stubborn and highly resistant to change.

B2EMO is a perfect representative of a Taurus in "Andor." Despite being an old and worn-out droid, B2EMO is a constant and reliable presence in Cassian's life, as well as that of his adoptive mother, Maarva. B2EMO cares deeply for his family and is always urging them to stay at home and out of trouble.

B2EMO's Taurus traits truly show in "Daughter of Ferrix." After Maarva passes away from an unknown illness, B2EMO initially refuses to leave the house or even be alone with Maarva to say his goodbyes. He tells Brasso that he just wants Maarva back and doesn't want to leave his home. Luckily for him, Brasso agrees to spend the first night at Maarva's house before taking B2EMO home with him.

Gemini: Luthen Rael

The third sign of the zodiac, Gemini, is represented by the sign of the twins. Geminis are known for their adaptability and jack-of-all-trades personalities. Geminis are also masters of communication, and while this can make them very popular and likable, it often leads many Geminis to be manipulative.

As such, the best representation of a Gemini in "Andor" is the rebellion's master manipulator himself, Luthen Rael. While Luthen is never seen fighting on the front lines, many of the Rebels' successful operations owe their existence to Luthen's efforts, as he is responsible for manipulating many of the show's major characters into action, including Cassian Andor, Mon Mothma, and Vel.

Luthen also proves himself to be a Gemini in his appearance of having a dual nature. Represented by the twins, Geminis are often seen as being somewhat two-faced. Audiences see another side of Luthen in "Aldhani," as he publicly presents himself as an eclectic purveyor of rare artifacts, and charismatically runs a shop that is a front for his Rebel activities. His ruthless commitment to the rebellion is also two-sided: sometimes admirable, sometimes ethically murky.

Cancer: Maarva Andor

Cancer is the fourth sign of the zodiac, and those born between June 21st and July 22nd carry its traits. Represented by the sign of the crab, Cancereans are famously loyal and protective people. They are known for their maternal attributes, making them great guardians and caretakers. They are also known to be big dreamers, often envisioning lives they could never lead.

Cassian's adoptive mother, Maarva Andor, is a great representation of a Cancer in "Andor." Her altruistic and nurturing qualities led to her taking in Cassian at a young age, and the two grew very close over time. Maarva is also patient with Cassian even when he's in trouble and always tries to protect him.

The dreamer in Maarva really kicks in after the Empire begins their occupation of her home on Ferrix. Instead of bending to the will of the Empire, Maarva dreams of a galaxy free from the Empire's grasp. While she doesn't live to see her dream come true, the message that she leaves with B2EMO in "Rix Road" inspires the people of Ferrix to fight back against the Empire and retake their home.

Leo: Brasso

Ruling over those born between July 23rd and August 22nd, Leo is represented by the sign of the Lion, and is the second fire sign of the zodiac. Leos are known for being the life of the party. They are big, warm, and inviting personalities. Because of this, they are often very easy to like, and people will flock to them as leaders.

Perhaps the best example of a Leo in "Andor" is Brasso. Brasso is an old friend of Cassian's who lives on Ferrix. Besides his mother Maarva, there is no one of Ferrix who Cassian goes to more than Brasso. Brasso is a kind man whom everyone in the community trusts. He even takes in B2EMO after Maarva's death in "Daughter of Ferrix."

Brasso also shows that he has a Leo's leadership abilities in "Rix Road." After the Empire tries to halt Maarva's funeral following her incendiary message that she left with B2EMO, Brasso takes a stand against the Imperial troops and fights back. The crowd immediately comes to his aid, fighting by his side and rallying behind him during the escape.

Virgo: Kino Loy

Virgo is the sixth sign of the zodiac, as well as its second earth sign. Those born between August 23rd and September 22nd are known to carry its traits. Virgos are known for being loyal, honest, and hard-working. They have an eye for detail, which can lead to them being overly critical or nitpicky, but their pure intentions still lead to them being admired and appreciated.

In "Andor," these traits describe Kino Loy well. When Cassian was sent to an Imperial prison on Narkina 5 in the episode, "Narkina," Kino Loy, played by Andy Serkis, served as the manager of Unit Five-Two-D, where Cassian was assigned. Despite being a fellow prisoner, Kino runs a tight crew, ensuring that his team makes their production quotas without mistakes. He also shows a Virgo's traditionally strong spatial awareness by keeping track of every member of his crew.

Kino Loy also displays a Virgo's honest and good intentions in the work he does. While he pushes his crew hard and often says that he's only interested in surviving until the end of his own sentence, he also ensures they are all safe from the Empire's wrath. After Kino discovers that his men will never be let go at the end of "Nobody's Listening!," Kino helps Cassian break them all out of the prison.

Libra: Mon Mothma

The seventh sign of the zodiac, Libra, is represented by the sign of the scales. Like the scales of justice, Libras are famously fair-minded individuals. Their diplomatic natures make them excellent negotiators and socialites. However, Libras can also be known to be highly indecisive or conflict-avoidant.

These traits can easily be attributed to returning "Star Wars" hero Mon Mothma. First appearing in "Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi," Mon Mothma (then played by Caroline Blakiston) is a senator from Chandrilla who eventually becomes a major leader in the rebellion against the Empire. In "Andor," Mon Mothma (now played by Genevieve O'Reilly) is still acting as a senator, working under the guise of supporting the Empire while secretly funding Rebel operations. Throughout the season, she weaves in and out of social gatherings, making deals to help fund her operations.

However, when it is discovered that she is missing funds in "Announcement," she reaches out to an old friend, Tay Kolma, to help hide where the missing fund went in hopes of avoiding a confrontation with the Empire. Her Virgo indecisiveness also shows at multiple points throughout the series, with characters like Luthen having to push her into making important decisions.

Scorpio: Dedra Meero

Scorpio is the eighth sign of the zodiac, and also one of its most unique. Represented by the scorpion, Scorpios are known to be intense individuals who stand out in a crowd. They are intelligent, resourceful, and highly loyal to the people and causes they believe in. However, Scorpios are known to at times have violent or dark natures.

Dedra Meero is arguably the best example of a Scorpio in "Andor." Throughout the series, Dedra proves herself to be smarter than the majority of her peers, catching problems that many of the other Imperial officers overlook. She maintains an intense and confident composure at all times, never letting her loyalty to the Empire wane for even a moment.

She is also shown to display a Scorpio's penchant for violence. In "Nobody's Listening," Dedra captures Bix Caleen and seems to take pleasure in the advanced methods of torture that the Empire had prepared for her.

Sagittarius: Vel Sartha

Sagittarius is the ninth sign of the zodiac, as well as its final fire sign. Those born between November 22nd and December 21st are known to carry the traits of the centaur sign. Sagittarians are free-spirited and adventurous individuals whose big dreams often lead them to travel the world seeking new experiences. They also tend to be arrogant and rebellious, believing they know what's best for the world.

Vel Sartha is a perfect representation of a Sagittarius in "Andor." A cousin of Mon Mothma, Vel was never content to lead a traditional Chandrillan life or follow its customs. Despite her wealth and family status, Vel's adventurous spirit lead her to the front lines of the rebellion, where she was in charge of the Aldhani team in "Aldhani." Her belief that she knows what's best for the galaxy drives her to fight against the Empire.

However, her rebellious nature also means she doesn't always agree with the Rebel Alliance or Luthen Rael's methods. While her girlfriend Cinta puts the rebellion's needs first, Vel often dreams of a better life. In "Rix Road," she tries to convince Cinta to ignore the rebellion for once and run away with her, but is unfortunately turned down.

Capricorn: Syril Karn

Capricorn is the final earth sign of the zodiac and is represented by the sign of the goat. Capricorns are known for being success-oriented individuals motivated by a strong sense of duty. They are responsible and driven, almost to the point of obsession. However, they can also be condescending and unforgiving.

In "Andor," Capricorns are represented by Syril Karn. A former deputy inspector for the Preox-Morlana corporate authority, Syril's mind is laser-focused on success at all times. Not content with how the corporate authority is handling the death of two of his agents at the hands of Cassian Andor, Syril oversteps his bounds, which ultimately leads to his firing in "Aldhani."

However, Syril's hard-working nature and obsession with overcoming the challenge that took him down leads to him getting a job with the Empire, where he uses his resources to track down Cassian. His unforgiving Capricorn nature drives his relentless search for Cassian. He also displays a Capricorn's condescending tone, always talking down to his (admittedly overbearing) mother, who helped him to find a job.

Aquarius: Cinta Kaz

Aquarius is the 11th sign of the zodiac. Those born between January 20th and February 18th are known to carry the traits of the final air sign. Aquarians are progressive and forward-thinking individuals with a humanitarian streak that seeks to improve the world around them. However, Aquarians also tend to hide or run away from emotional expression, and can often come off colder than they mean to.

In "Andor," Aquarius is best represented by Rebel fighter Cinta Kaz. Cinta is a member of Vel's Aldhani team, and the two became close during the training for their mission, eventually becoming a couple. Cinta is a true believer in the Rebel cause, wanting to see the galaxy be free from Imperial reign. She carries an Aquarius' tendency toward extremism, willing to do whatever it takes to succeed in her mission.

While Cinta has a relationship with Vel, she makes it clear to Vel that the mission and the cause will always come before their personal feelings. Any time Vel tries to open up to Cinta or convince her to allow more in her life than just fighting, Cinta backs away and informs Vel that she needs to focus on the cause, such as during their final conversation in "Rix Road."

Pisces: Karis Nemik

Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac, and its final water sign. Represented by the fish, those born between February 19th and March 20th are ruled by Pisces, and tend to carry the traits often associated with the sign. Pisceans are often seen as the biggest dreamers of the zodiac. They tend to be compassionate, big-hearted people who see the best in those around them. However, they can also be prone to getting lost in fantasy and not seeing the world realistically.

"Andor's" Pisces is Karis Nemik. Another member of Vel's Aldhani team, Nemik is kind and caring. He takes a shine to Cassian almost immediately. While other members of the team, such as Skeen, have a hard time excepting a new member, Nemik tries to welcome him in. After discovering that Cassian was being paid to assist the team as a mercenary in "The Axe Forgets," Nemik is disappointed that Cassian doesn't share the team's ideals, but still looks forward to working with him anyway.

In typical Piscean fashion, Nemik is also the team's biggest dreamer. He truly believes that the Empire can be stopped and the galaxy freed from its tyranny, and he often communicates his hopes for the galaxy to the rest of the team. While Nemik is unfortunately killed during the Aldhani mission, his optimistic spirit resonates with Cassian enough that his encouraging voice-over about a better future is heard during the closing minutes of "Rix Road."
