Game Of Thrones, Harry Potter, I Think You Should Leave
- In 2019, Nina ran the majority of Looper's coverage for the final season of Game of Thrones, including recaps and post-finale coverage.
- Nina's favorite modern filmmakers are Greta Gerwig, Jordan Peele, and Rian Johnson, and she'll buy an opening night ticket for literally anything they make.
- The last movie she saw before COVID-19 hit was Cats. She did so as a bit — a bit for absolutely nobody.
Experience
After working for a wide variety of sites both freelance and full time, Nina joined Looper as a freelancer in November of 2018 in the Features department before joining the News department as well in 2019. In the summer of 2021, Nina joined Static Media in a full-time role, serving as the Lead News Editor of Looper News before making a pivot to video projects like Everything Marvel, The Looper Show, and Okay, So Basically. Having worked from the two best cities in the world — Paris and Philadelphia — Nina is still surprised that anyone wants her to share her hot takes on "Game of Thrones" or the Oscars, much less that she gets to do that for a living. Nina currently provides original takes on Looper News through op-eds, columns, and collaborative features.
Education
Nina received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in English Literature with a Theater minor. In 2021, she earned a Master's degree in Creative Writing (Fiction) from the University of Kent Paris School of Arts & Sciences.
